Danié embodies Vizcaya’s artistic ambitions. A journalist by trade and a creator at heart, she shares the story of Vizcaya through her own unique perspective, much like the contemporary artists Mr. Deering commissioned when the estate was newly created.
Ever colorful and lighthearted, Maria Claudia is a reflection of Vizcaya’s original purpose. The estate was first created as the vacation home of industrialist James Deering and provided him with warmth and joy, much like Maria Claudia does for her community.
This former ballerina strives to make high-end fashion accessible with her every day looks just like Vizcaya aims to bring the community into what was once a private mansion by making the estate an active cultural hub.
Carolina’s irreverent and outspoken personality mirrors that of Vizcaya’s artistic director, Paul Chalfin. He not only spoke his mind but also mismatched elements of various artifacts to create his own aesthetic, as Carolina does with fashion. Bold and original, she is the pioneering spirit of Vizcaya.
At Vizcaya, our efforts are value-driven, an approach that Tamar shares. She has established herself in the fashion industry, expressing her colorful and feminine style while holding true to herself – modest yet stylish. She is an example that, like Vizcaya, you can be traditional while still being fun and relevant.
